Plain-language details about what Easter Bunny Runner does & doesn't do with your information.
On this page
1 Overview
Easter Bunny Runner (the "Game", package com.example.drop.zone) is a single-player arcade game. We designed it to be privacy-friendly: your game progress stays on your own device, and we do not run accounts, logins, or leaderboards that upload your data.
This policy explains the limited data the Game uses, the Android permissions it requests, and the one third-party service it relies on (Google Firebase for optional push notifications).
2 Information we collect
Game progress (stored only on your device). The Game saves your settings and progress locally using Android's on-device storage (DataStore). This information never leaves your phone and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. It includes:
- Your high score and total number of runs
- In-game currency you collect (coins and diamonds)
- Unlocked & selected bunny skins and earned achievements
- Your preferences: sound, music, haptics, chosen difficulty, and whether you've seen the tutorial
Push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging). If notifications are enabled, Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your installation a device token so notifications can be delivered. This token is generated and handled by Google's Firebase service. The Game does not collect a profile, contact list, or personal identity from this.
3 What we do not collect
We want to be clear about what the Game does not do:
- No personal information — no name, email, phone number, or address
- No device identifiers such as IMEI, serial number, or advertising ID
- No location data
- No contacts, call logs, photos, or files
- No account or login — you play completely anonymously
- No leaderboard or score upload — scores stay on your device
- No selling or sharing of personal data with advertisers
4 Permissions & why we ask
Android requires apps to declare permissions. Here is every permission the Game uses and exactly why:
| Internet | Allows Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive push notifications. The Game has no other backend it sends data to. |
| Notifications | Lets the Game show you notifications (for example, reminders or news). You can turn these off in your system settings at any time. |
| Camera | Used only for the optional, playful in-app "bunny video call" self-view. The camera preview is shown live on your screen and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. If you deny the permission, the feature simply shows a placeholder avatar instead. |
| Vibrate | Provides haptic feedback (little buzzes) on hits, pickups, and menu taps. Optional — toggle it off in settings. |
| Full-screen intent | Allows an important notification to display as a full-screen alert on supported devices. |
| Display over other apps | Supports showing certain alerts/overlays related to notifications. |
5 Third-party services
The Game uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. When notifications are active, Google processes a device messaging token on our behalf. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
You can review Google's privacy practices here: policies.google.com/privacy.
6 Children's privacy
Easter Bunny Runner is a family-friendly arcade game suitable for all ages. Because it does not collect personal information, create accounts, or require any sign-in, it does not knowingly gather personal data from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will help.
7 Data retention & deletion
Because your game data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it:
- Clearing the app's data from your system settings resets your progress.
- Uninstalling the Game permanently removes all locally stored data.
- Turning off notifications in your system settings stops the push token from being used.
8 Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
